London Conspiracy will replace Vega Squadron at the MLG Pro League S2 after the latter has failed to obtain visas on a short notice, report DotaBlast. Vega Squadron acquired one of the two slots reserved for European teams after defeating LC in the lower bracket final of the qualifier.
LC will now be playing their second LAN finals and also the first to be held in USA. They will now look forward to improve on their 7-8th finish at the StarLadder Season 12.
The event itself received some recent negativity with widespread criticism hitting social media after it became apparent that teams' travel expenses do not support their coaches and managers. Phillip Aram, manager of Mousesports, went vocal expressing his discontent.
Tournaments seriously need to stop saying they pay for travel and then not cover coaches/managers. They should be standard not some bonus.

Nevertheless the event, has been well accepted within the community as its current prize pool of $150,000+ is already more than doubling the base prize pool of $75,000. Additionally this will be the second time a Dota 2 event is live streamed on ESPN, the first one being The International 2014. Live stream on MLG Platform will also be available.
