Chinese New Year mode post is fake

-Update-

Hippovic has personally reached out to us stating that the alleged Chinese New Year mode that he supposedly posted is fake. The post is not made by him and should not be trusted.

With Chinese New Year almost upon us, it has just come to our knowledge that Valve will release a new game mode with it. Having opened the workshop to Chinese New Year themed submissions a month ago, this upcoming mode will be the latest in a series of so far successful events.

Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year is the most important festival in the Chinese calendar, taking place from the 31st of January to the 2nd of February. Noting it's importance, Valve has requested users to submit their artwork and designs in the workshop, having worked details with their Chinese counterparts over the event.

Ming Yin 'Hippovic' Chen, Chinese Dota 2 Representative:

After tonight I will be returning to China. In the past when I came to Seattle I always wanted to stay longer, only this time my heart longs to return earlier because of Chinese New Year. Very satisfied with the meeting results. We basically covered all major problems and if execution is successful the problems can be solved quickly. Hope everyone will like the CNY game mode, hope the open beta of dota2 in China will be successful.

This statement (translated) was taken off of his Weibo account, confirming the game mode in Dota 2's Year of The Horse blogpost, but lacking details of current ongoing works.
