An update on 2P stated that Speed will be missing their flights and staying for a tad while longer to compete in Fengyun Championship. Their first match against Subvert will begin on the 24th of December.
After suffering bitter defeat in the hands of eventual third placing Tongfu in G-League, Speed had previously been reported to be flying back to Europe and North America for Christmas. An update on 2P stated that Speed will be missing their flights and staying for a tad while longer to compete in the Fengyun Championship.
Speed's decision to stay means their first round opponents, Subvert, consisting of players such as 8K and Yaobai will not be getting a walkover to the quarter-finals.
Set to begin on the 23rd of December and ending on the 28th, Speed's game will not be until the 24th and will skip Christmas day to play on the 26th if they were to win against Subvert. Undoubtedly, Speed will be training hard for their possible quarter-final match against the winner of Tongfu versus For.Love.
It is currently unknown if Speed will return to China after they go back to their home country.
