The final team joining the playoffs of the EMS One Fall is determined, as Natus Vincere won against Sigma on the Group A decider match.
The decider game between Sigma and Na`Vi, supposedly finished yesterday, is the last match of the group stage. It is a highly anticipated match because both teams are capable of beating each other. Despite the Ukranians winning their game against Sigma on the group stage on this tournament, these two teams have actually split their last eight games
Na`Vi was able to secure the Wisp-CK, which they put into the middle lane. Sigma, on the other hand, had a surprising last pick by choosing Centaur. Sigma drew first blood after a solo kill by Mirana on Puck, but Na`Vi gained back the advantage after a double-kill on the middle-lane by the ganking, double damaged-buffed Bounty Hunter.
Despite giving away first blood, Puck was still able to out-lasthit Mirana on the lane. He was able to get a completed Power Treads, Dagger and 1,500 gold by the 15th minute, while Mirana has barely finished her Drums then. The support heroes of Sigma aren't getting farm as well, forcing the Dragon Knight to adjust by buying the Mekansm for the team. The only hero of Sigma who is getting any significant farm , Centaur, gets kited very easily on team skirmishes.
Sigma tried numerous smoke ganks coupled with moonlight shadow, but the good map control and awareness of Na`Vi made the attempts futile. The Ukranians pulled off to a big lead and there was not much Sigma was able to do. Na`Vi pulled off team fight after team fight with almost no casualty. Without any chance to come back into the game and on the verge of losing their bottom lane after a failed defense effort on the bottom lane, Sigma called the GG right before the 30-minute mark.
The tournament will shift into a single-elimination format on the playoffs. Starting the playoffs is Group B topnotcher Fnatic going up against Na`Vi, and will be followed by Chinese team and Group A leader Vici Gaming going up against TI3 Champion Alliance. Both semifinal matches will be best-of-three, and the finals will be played on a best-of-five.
