Na`Vi and Empire will each lead a group of six teams into action scheduled to start Thursday December 13th. After two days of round robin group play, the best three teams of each division move on to single elimination playoffs, in which the group leaders are seeded in the semi finals directly. Runner-up and third place finishers on the other hand need to go at each other in two quarter final matches first for a chance to face them.
ASUS Final Battle Of The Year teamed up with big brother StarLadder to host the showdown. Buyers of the Star Series Season 4 ticket can watch all games through the game client. So far, only Russian commentary by StarLadder commentators Vitali 'v1lat' Volochay, Vladislav 'mtrx4u' Susdal and Roman 'CaspeRRR' Lepekhin have been announced officially.
Everybody who plans to follow the tournament should keep an eye on Russian side United Sexy Boys seeded in group A, which contains former DTS team mates Ivan 'ArtStyle' Antonov as well as Andrew 'Dread' Golubev.
