Na’Vi’s player manager, Igor ‘caff’ Sydorenko, spoke to GosuGamers briefly in the lead-up to their ESL One semi-final series against Vega Squadron. caff expressed sadness that the two CIS teams would be facing each other, but the high placement of both teams was a good sign for Dota in the region. He explained that managing a team is not as hard as it is perceived to be, but there are times where the players need to have their space. This is especially true as most of Na’Vi’s players are still becoming accustomed to the spotlight. caff then explained that the players try to spend as much time as possible together to build the camaraderie between the players. Now that ESL One Frankfurt is over, Na’Vi plans to attend play online up until The Summit 5. After completing that tournament, Na’Vi will bootcamp in the U.S. in order to be as prepared as possible before The International 6.
