Fresh details of EMS One American qualifier is out and this time, EMS has decided to shorten the qualifying stage by reducing the number of cups to one.
The cupstage of the qualifier will kick off this weekend in which four top placers will be moving forward to the groupstage. In the groupstage, they will be matched up against four invited teams in which they will be separated into two groups of four. The top two of each group will earn their spot in the single elimination playoffs. Similar to the previous season, only one American team will end up qualifying for the EMS One offline event later this year.
The NA qualifier will employ GSL groups to settle the groupstage. All the matches will be played in best-of-three as well.
Schedule:
Group A: September 27–29
Group B: October 1–3
Semi Finals: October 5
Grand Final: October 6
