Valve to shut down betting sites
The CS:GO developers have announced that they will be cracking down on gambling using in-game items this week following a number of scandals regarding popular YouTube and Twitch personalities' hidden affiliations with gambling sites. Although the majority of sites are still operational, Valve warns that sites that continue to use Steam bots to conduct gambling operations will be targeted for shutdown in the near future. Magiskb0y signs with Dignitas
The Danish roster will be saying goodbye to Jesper "tenzki" Mikalski to accomodate the latest arrival to the team this week, Emil "Magiskb0Y" Reif, who will take over the role of primary rifler on the team. According to the players as well the coach, the decision to make roster changes came after the Dignitas failed to make it to the playoffs of the recent ESL One Cologne major.
PENTA adds Kairi
PENTA Sports has been on the hunt for a fifth member since early May when the team parted ways with their in-game leader Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz, but that search is finally now over this week as PENTA has acquired former gBots member David "Kairi" de Miguel to take his place. The Spaniard will join his fellow countryman and former teammate Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran in PENTA's roster, alongside the remnants of the team's former German line-up as well as Mike "mikeS" Tuns.
