Alienware Area 51 CS:GO Cup announced

Curse Gaming have teamed up with Alienware and ESEA to put on the $10,000 Alienware Area 51 CS:GO Cup.

Curse Network have partnered with computer hardware company Alienware and ESEA to put on the $10,000 tournament which is slated to take place at the end of March, from the 27-28. Eight North American teams have been invited by the organizers to participate in the single elimination, best-of-three format series.

While this tournament does offer a good prize for the winners, Curse and Alienware have combined to add an interesting twist for fans and viewers of the two-day event. In the spirit of March Madness, where Americans fill out brackets in an attempt to accurately predict the winner of each game in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the hosts of the tournament are offering upward of $50,000 to one entry who correctly predicts the two teams in the grand finals and the potential three match scores. If multiple entries select the correct score, the winner will be chosen at random from a drawing.

Along with this, Alienware, ESEA and Curse will be giving out skins on twitch.tv/ESEA during the event.
