FlipSid3 Tactics were a bit of a favored team coming into this duel, although PiTER did have an unbelievable match against Titan earlier today. It all came down to this one map, only one team could get qualified while the other one would leave with empty hands. The map pick felt to de_mirage.

FlipSid3 didn't lose any time to get the match under their control. After a very unpromising CT side in their match against LGB eSports, they consolidated their units and set up an unbreakable wall for PiTER which had to satisfy with only 3 rounds on the T side. However, the Russian team didn't want to surrender as they believed in yet another comeback in the first day of the qualifiers. However, the Ukranian team knocked them down once again winning the pistol round of the second half which then resulted in PiTER going into a force buy and losing all the remaining rounds and the match. FlipSid3 Tactics are the third qualified team from the Group A as there is only one spot left for the better of Titan vs CPH Wolves.
