There are a lot of things to keep track of in the Overwatch scene and it's become increasingly difficult to keep up with it all. Never fear as the GosuGamers Competitive Recap is here! We've compiled all the Overwatch news that's fit to print.

Released every week, the Competitive Recap compiles all the tournament and important news that's happened over the last seven days. Whether you're interested in big news, or want to stay updated on changes in teams, you can always tune in every week to see if there's anything you've missed.

New PTR patch tweaks Lucio and adds a new route for Eichenwalde offense

Another week, another set of changes for PTR. As announced, Blizzard is trying out some Lucio tweaks. One change that is definitely welcome is an added route on Eichenwalde to balance out the first phase of the game.

Blizzard introduces PTR changes to battle assault objective draws

Blizzard is testing out quite a controversial change to how progress is counted on capture points. Do read the article as it could soon make the difference in your games.

There will be no Blizzard games at WCA 2017

It was shared that WCA did not manage to get licenses for Blizzard games this year. Later on, it was reported that talks have continued but the chances of an Overwatch tournament are minimal at least. 

 

Orisa is Live! Here's All of her Customizations - Orisa Held Out of Competitive Play For One Week

Orisa has arrived to the live servers, after weeks on the PTR! Check her collectibles out in our video, and take notice of the fact this time Blizzard has taken the step to ban her from competitive for at least the first week.

Patch 1.9 Live - Hero tweaks accompanying Orisa's release

Alongside the release of Orisa, several changes moved over from PTR to Live. Sombra got an additional boost, while Ana keeps getting the debuffs she is so used to giving out.

Overwatch Monthly Melee Day 2 Recap: Selfless Falls, Rogue Wins it All

The March Monthly Melee by Alienware and Curse concluded this weekend. Korean invites RunAway and Brazilian guests BGH both entertained, but it was Rogue in the end that won their second AMM in a row.

LW Blue 3-1 KongDoo Panthera to complete APEX top four for Playoffs

After this match, the final 4 of APEX Season 2 is now set. What a grand tournament it has been, and what good play is still ahead of us!

These teams will play in the Overwatch Pit Championship

The duo of Pit Championships, one for EU and one for NA, is kicking off this week after the Open Qualifiers concluded. Each region will first feature a dual group phase, with the first half EU teams on the schedule first.

Laser Kittenz Assembles for the Overwatch PIT Championships

Bench Boys, minus founder TwoEasy, has found a new organization with ex-Misfits manager Alicus. The team will play under the moniker Laser Kittenz, featuring a matching logo, and you will be able to support the roster, now reinforced with Zaprey, Nesh and crems, in the PIT Championship.
