Epicenter 2017 qualifiers kick off tomorrow with some big names from all four regions - NA, SEA, EU and China. The regional qualifiers will span a total of eight days granting one team from each region a spot in the groups stage and a shot at the $500,000 prize pool.
For 32 teams, the journey to the Epicenter will begin tomorrow, May 6th and continue through May 14th. Eight teams from all four regions will be engage in first phase of their battle - a double elimination test of strength. Only four teams - one from each of the corners of the world will emerge as the victors. Their prize - honor, prestige and a much sought after spot in the group stage - one step closer to the main event.
Ten teams - six directly invited - Team Liquid, Virtus.Pro, OG, EG plus 2 TBD - and four qualified from around the world will be battling it out in Moscow at the VTB Ice Palace sports arena.

EPICENTER 2017 Format:
EPICENTER: Moscow will be split into several stages
Group Stage:
- 10 Teams: Six invited teams will be joined by four qualifiers from four regions
- June 4th to 7th
- Two groups of 5 teams each
- Top 3 teams of each group continue to the play-offs
Main Event:
- Held at VTB Ice Palace from June 9th to 11th
- Top seed from each group proceed directly to the semi-finals
- The four 2nd and 3rd placed teams proceed to the quarter-finals
- Single-elimination bracket

The tournament boasts a $500 000 prize pool split among all ten participating teams
1st Place: $250 000

3rd and 4th Place: $40 000
