WESG Returns; WESG 2017 registration now open for Europe, CIS, Americas

WESG has announced their return with registration now open for the WESG 2017 European, CIS and Americas qualifiers.

Met with a mix of enthusiasm and criticism last year for hosting such a large prize pool event open to only teams or stacks of single or closely related nationalities, WESG has announced their with a sizeable prize pool of $1,500,000 for Dota 2. Once again, StarLadder will be holding the Western qualifiers.

Last year the WESG Champions were declared after a three game grand finals in which TnC had bested Cloud 9 (then the Danish lineup) 2:1. Alliance had rounded out the podium in third with Infamous falling a step below in fourth place.
