You, the Dota 2 fans and us, the GosuGamers crew, voted him carry of the year. Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok was part of Team Ukraine at WESG and we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to talk to him.

TNC Pro Team won the first edition of the WESG. GosuGamers had the chance to talk to Marc Polo 'Raven' Luis Fausto, team’s carry player, moments after he and his teammates lifted the heavy trophy.

On the last day of WESG Global Grand Finals we had the chance to chat a bit with Team Romania’s support Alexandru 'ComeWithMe' Craciunescu.

In the first day of the WESG playoffs GosuGamers found Damien 'kpii' Chok from Newbee at the venue. Of course he wasn’t competing, so we invited him to chat about his unexpected presence there. We touched some other subjects as well, the highlight being the gender mixed team, Newbee Boss.

After a stumble in game two, TnC showed their mettle against the new Cloud 9 in a gruelling game three and claimed WESG 2016 as their own.

The second finalist for the World Electronic Sports Games was decided as TnC secures a top two finish and a shot at the World Champion title.

Day Three at the World Entertainment Sports Games continued with the top eight teams fighting for a spot in the semi-finals.

After the initial matches of day three, eight teams remain in the quarter finals, with two Peruvian teams, Infamous and Team DileCom, guaranteed a top eight finish.

Day 2 of the World Electronic Sports Games would see many teams being eliminated with the closing up of the group stages.

There’s a group of five players who went unnoticed for two years straight, but that changed at the beginning of 2017. Here, at WESG, we got to meet and hear the story of the Kyrgyz team NoLifer5. Reborn, who are now representing the blue and white of MVP.
