DreamLeague 7 kicks off with a CIS double header

DreamLeague Season 7 kicks off tonight with a CIS double header - Vega vs Na'Vi at 18:30 CEST followed by their match against the Empire at 21:00 CEST.

With four CIS teams taking up residence (a whopping 50% of the lineup) in the new season of League play, the CIS carnage is expected to be strong. The play kicks off with Vega Squadron bearing down on a double header against Ukraine's sweathearts - Na'Vi and then the dark side of the force - Team Empire.

Six teams have been invited - Alliance, Liquid, Virtus.Pro, Team Secret, Na'Vi and Mousesports, and two teams qualified - Vega Squadron and Team Empire. 

DreamLeague Season 7 is expected to see the runner up Kiev Major knock out team - Virtus.Pro at the top of the foodchain. However, with the new season upon us, roster changes incoming and teams hungry for a place at TI7, the entire event has the potential to be a display of stellar performaces brimming with hope.

Each team  will compete over the next two weeks for one of three spots allocated to the LAN event. Each team will also receive $1,000 per game won for a total $56,000 to be awarded through the league play.

The LAN event will take place in US for the first time - during DreamHack Atlanta, on July 21st and 22nd. The teams will be competing for a slice of the $175,000 total prize pool.

1st place: $80,000
2nd place: $45,000
3rd place: $30,000
4th place: $20,000
