GosuGamers Matchticker introduced to Overwolf app store
We at GosuGamers have partnered up with Overwolf to bring our amazing match ticker to the in-game application. The functionality of the application will be much like our Chrome extension with information on the competing teams, the tournament, the game title played and the match schedules. By the very nature of Overwolf's user interface you will be able view the match ticker both while playing your favourite game, and while browsing or working at your desktop.

The Boston Major regional qualifiers are officially over, after China decided its two teams advancing into the LAN event. None of the eight qualified teams to the Boston Major have been at The International 6, and from the sixteen attending teams at this Fall Major, nine of them are Asian. The Boston Major main event will take place from 7th to 10th of December at the Wang Theater in a single elimination bracket format.
Elimination Mode is back with the 2.0 edition
After the great success of Elimination Mode 1.0 from September last year, Moonduck raised the prize pool from $10,000 to $20,000 , changed the format from a single elimination bracket to a double elimination, secured a mix of four NA teams and four European ones, and it's ready to kick off on the 1st of November.

Fans in dismay as SingSing retires from professional Dota
After failing to make it through both the European and the North American rounds of the open qualifiers of the Boston Major, Kaipi disbands, with Singsing retiring from professional Dota. While some fans still wish that SingSing makes a comeback to professional Dota, imitating what he once did in the October of 2013, SingSing has mentioned that this time he is sure about his decision to retire and will now focus more of his time towards streaming, which is definitely a good news for his disheartened fans. ESL One Genting kicks of the regional qualifiers
As only three direct invites were given out for ESL One Genting, the regional qualifiers will feature brackets for SEA, China, Europe, Americas and Malaysia, which will be getting its own chance at sending a team to Genting in January 2017. While the Chinese, SEA and Malaysian qualifiers details are yet to be released, the European and Americas teams started the brawl on October 31st.
European qualifiers:

The ESL One Genting LAN event will take place at the Resorts World Genting in Malaysia from the 6th to 8th of January 2017. Wings Gaming, Digital Chaos and Fnatic are the only three directly invited teams to the tournament featuring a total of eight squads fighting for a $250,000 prize pool.
