GOMTV World Invitational opens with HoT against FoV

Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn is grouped up with Dea "FoV" Hui Cho, Xiaofeng "Sky" Li and Zeng "TeD" Zhuo in the GOMTV World Invitational.

The Ukrainian Night Elf player will also be the one who opens the upcoming league as he is to fight the Undead FoV in the opening match.

As the event kicks off on June 4, we will also see Sky play his team mate TeD for precious points. Paired up in two groups, the participants will need to be on their toes, as only two from each group will advance to the semi finals. Group winner will take on the alternate group's runner-up for the semi finals. All matches are played best of three with a map pool which is yet to be revealed.

What has been rumoured long has now been confirmed, as Yoan "ToD" Merlo and Kevin "RotterdaM" van der Kooi once again sit down behing the microphones as commentators.

GOMTV boasts with a 17-million KRW prize pool which rates up to €9,760 in total, of which the winner will be given €5,742.
