Marcus "Thorzain" Eklöf will take Samu 'BriNGeR' Rihelä's place in the EPS Scandinavia finals.
Hunting a first place prize of €1,000, the Finnish national team player was supposed to attend the ESL Pro Series Scandinavia finals at Inferno Online in Stockholm, Sweden this weekend but has cancelled his participation. The Night Elf player was paired up to play the Swedish Undead Hjalmar "DowaQ" Högberg in the first round, but the Swede will take on friend and former team mate Thorzain instead.
The other end of the semi final hold Daniel 'LiiLD.C' Claesson against Rene 'Ciara' Krag.
Thorzain ended fifth in the online season. ESL reports that while BriNGeR was seeded second for the playoffs, Thorzain's jump-in will not cause a re-seeding.
