IEF09 : First list of players

Even with the financial crisis, eSports event continue to happen, except for the ESWC that is unsure, a good thing for this industry. Another one will happen in late autumn

According to IEF Japan, the 2009th edition of the IEF, now renamed “International Youth e-Culture Festival 2009”, will take place in Suwon, South-Korea from October 31st to November 2nd. They will launch a press interview in April, hosted by IEF Organization, Kyounggi-do and Suwon-si.
You can surely see the lack of Korean player in this list. It’s perfectly normal, they will hold an event, a qualifier for them.

The Korean preliminary will be from July 1st to August 30th and then the final will be held at the same place as the Grand Final, in Suwon on September 20th.
