Daniel "LiiLD.C" Claesson landed in the Top 8 in the NGL-ONE yesterday after defeating Xiaofeng "Sky" Li in a convincing 2-0 measure.

"I thought I was going to be able to defeat Sky," says LiiLD.C. "What surprised me was that he vetoed Secret Valley which made me happy," he added.
The first game opened up on Terenas Stand, LiiLD.C went for a dual Ancient of Wars and massing tier 1 units with the Warden. Knowing that Sky was going for a fast expansion, the Swedish Night Elf felt secure with his strategy.
In his blog, LiiLD.C explains the outcome of the first game:
"Sky pushed me back pretty good with mercs/zeppelin but he lost a lot too. He made a big mistake losing his level 3 Archmage (where was the zeppelin?) and I could make a final push with glaives and few dryards for dispell," tells LiiLD.C, and adds that when his "Warden got level 6 and I knew it was game over, he had to call GG".
Coming in with a confident 1-0, Twisted Meadows was up next. LiiLD.C reveals Twisted Meadows as his favourite map against Humans, but has a bad record against Sky on it.
"When I was in France for ESWC Masters me and Sky practised in a internet café and I lost 0-2 or 0-3 on TM which surprised me a lot (I thought I was undefeatable there). But changing some gameplay details, things went better this time:
"I changed some tiny details like creeping the mercenary camp to get level 3 so I could get mercenaries when I was pushing," says LiiLD.C. "It paid off really good and even though he made a painful harrass on my moon wells, I could end the game with the tier 2 Glaives/dryads/t1 units push again," says LiiLD.C and smiles.
And after an almost full eighth round, we find Grubby maintaining the first rank, closely followed by Lyn and TeD on a split second place.
This weekend we also saw TH000 defeat Fly100% in a clear 2-0, which boosted TH000 up to a second place in the GosuGamers rankings. Fly100% was able to come out of the weekend with one victory though, after defeating TeD on the Sunday. Moon outnumbered Sting 2-0 and ToD destroyed FoV 2-0.
