Hyeong Ju "Check" Lee advanced to the grand finals of the Korean invitational tournament Avalon Online Warcraft III Masters yesterday after defeating June "Lyn" Park in a clean 3-0 slate.
The main man of nGize, Hyeong Ju "Check" Lee proved better shape yesterday against Lyn compared to the 2-2 semi final win against seasoned Sung Yeon "Myth" Kim. Check's upper bracket final opponent Lyn applauded the Night Elf's play style to SK-Gaming afterwards.
- In the first two games, Check played the best class of Night elf. If a Night elf player is at the top of his game, there is no way an Orc player can win I suppose, said Lyn and added that he could have won the third game if he had focused on getting more healing scrolls instead of not expanding and taking an unnecessary fight.
In an interview with Replays.net, Lyn is asked who the best Night Elf player is - Check or Moon.
- I don’t know. Both of them are the best Night elf players, but today Check played better than Moon, said the Orc superstar.
Lyn awaits in the lower bracket to take on the winner between Moon and Myth. Lower bracket winner will then take on Check in a grand final, where Check is up 1-0 in best-of-threes.
