Infi, Soccer, WinNers and DowaQ qualify for NGL 1on1

On Saturday, the third and final qualifier tournament for the NGL 1on1 League finished. Just like in the previous ones, we had some ups, downs and surprises, but Infi, DowaQ, WinNers and Soccer made their way to the top.

This time, the number of Chinese participating rose up to 7. The Koreans also had a larger count - 11, along with 13 Europeans and only 1 player from America - Axslav, who left out quite early after 2 loses.

The first seeded player Infi, made his way to the quarter final without any problems. There he had to face the Serbian Orcer Aca, who had tough opponents in the face of WinNers and Lucifer, but managed to deal with them. However, the nGize player suffered a loss this time, as the Chinese Human sent him to the Loser Bracket. Another European participant - yAwS, also knocked out two Koreans - SouthSea and FoCuS, only to lose to Soccer afterwards. The Swedish youngster KnOfF kicked out HopeStar, and with lots of effort did the same with MinHyuk too, making his way through the next phase, where he had to meet his Country mate DowaQ, who prevailed over Syc and Yange.

Infi versus Soccer was the first match to decide the first qualified player. The World Elite star was down 0-1, but he stayed focused and turned the game out to his favour. The DreamHack Winter winner however did not manage to oppose DowaQ, who stream-rolled the Orcer with a straight 2-0. Two players were now decided, as two more were left to go. A lot of action in the Loser Bracket was about to be seen.

TH000 was probably the biggest disappointment of the day, as he did not won a map against MinHyuk and BriNGeR. Lucifer beated down suhO, but walked out after a loss against Like. MinHyuk however stomped the Chinese gamer, but lost himself in the match which was about to decide the 3rd participant qualified. After a promising start, Aca got kicked out by WinNers, who did the same with yAwS as well. Up against the Korean Night Elf was KnOfF, but he was no competition for his opponent. who caught the ticket for the train in the last possible moment.

The third and last qualification gave chances to 1 Chinese, 1 European and 2 Korean players to fight off in the NGL 1on1 League, which will be starting soon.
