Bulgarian JorGa wins GosuCup #4!

JOrga2.jpg
Tonight another one of GosuGamers public tournament took place and with over 100 confirmed player this ended up in an all-nighter with the Bulgarian Night Elf JorGa as winner.

As always GosuGamers hook up with the winner to share some words and hear what he has to say. JorGa seems to be a really nice guy and even though he said himself that he was very tired before the final games and would have most likely wanted to postpone them, he accepted to play and did it very well.
He said that the opponents never really bothered him, but then added that the final games against Sweden Illuminize was the hardest in the tournament.
JorGa's team mate Germany ENERGIZE did also participate in the tournament and was little bit of a favourite. JorGa was surprised to see him eliminated before the final of the tournament.
Another strong player who participated tonight was Canada Phenom who won an earlier GosuCup but also he failed to get himself far in the tough competition the tournament had to offer.
JorGa classify himself as a semi-active player but he also told us that the last weeks he have been more active than before and trained a few games every day. His team e-divine participates in a few team leagues with quite a lot of success recently.
Finally JorGa sent a shoutout to the people supporting him together with the team mates of his in the clan e-divine.

GosuCup #4 Grand Final Battle report

Game 1 @ Lost Temple

After starting at close positions Illumi went for massive ghouls in early game. He went for creepjacks and pressured JorGa who was going for fast expansion very well with his army of ghouls.
He got the big creep spot at the fountain very early and managed to level up his Deathknight very well.
But still JorGa's Warden was one step ahead and most times one level above the Undead.
Jorga managed to pressure the Undead player with sniping out two to three buildings and force the Undead to defend, so that he could not level his Lich very well.
Jorga decided to go for Huntress. He leveled his Warden to level 5 and build an impressive amout of Huntress in a short time. With Fan of Knives the Ghouls were no danger to his huntress in the final battle and the Fiends died instantly, thanks to Dust.

Game 2 @ Turtle Rock

Game two was played on Turtle Rock and also here the two players spawned close to each other. Night Elf went Warden again with the plan of an early expansion. Undead scouted this though and made a lethal push with fiends, ghouls and statues. Jorga had created quite an major tier 1 army of huntresses and archers but it simply wasn't enough to cover the expansion. Illumi had also picked up an greater mana potion for his DK which he used to its maximum and won the game shortly after.

Game 3 @ Twisted Meadows

Third and deciding game was played on Twisted Meadows, a map know to be pretty good for Undead against Night Elfs. For the third time Jorga choose Warden as his first hero and also here went for a fast expand together with a larger tier 1 army consisting of Archers and Huntresses.
Illumi on the other hand tried to counter this by teching straight to Gargoyles and harassing both the expansion and main base of Night Elf player.
After a smaller battle the Undead player got enough Gargoyles to start creeping the islands and the major dragons, picking up some nice items and opened up for hidden expansions. Once the Night Elf player realised this he gathered his forces to make one final blow against the Undead base. With the economy still at his advantage and with War Glaives / AP's at his side he made some major damage to the Undead, but was forced to TP due to low hp on the Warden. After a quick comeback to the Undead base it's pretty obvious though that it will fall, leaving the Undead only with the little expansion on an island. After this the game got kind of boring with the elf expansion all over the map and Undead cover himself in the base. After some hit and runs the Undead types out and JorGa stands victorious in this GosuCup!
