ReMinD, FoV, LucifroN and LiilD.C to NGL

Qualifier #1 for the NGL Solo League were finished with two players from Europe and Asia making it through the Brackets.

The first qualifier stage was last Saturday. Starting at 14:00 CET, 32 players kicked off in the grid. 10 Koreans, 20 Europeans and 2 Аmericans went to fight their way to the top. From the beginning of the tournament, there were some interesting matches to be played out.

Checking the quarter finals in the winner bracket, we saw Lucifer go up against Shy, WinNers versus FoV, SouthSea playing ReMinD and LucifroN paired up agaisnt XlorD. Without facing much problems, the two Korean Undeads went thought their opponents, as well as the the former SK star later on. However, the Orcish Spaniard had some troubles, as his German opponent played Human instead of the race said to be his main - Undead. Nevertheless, the rising Orc managed to pass thought the quarter final phase and go to the semis.

LucifroN had to meet his toughest opponent so far in the face of ReMinD. But the "Matador" was prepared for it, and took down his Night Elf opponent, continuing his winning streak. In the other match, two Undead legends were up against each other. FoV was looking for revenge on Lucifer after their previous encounter in March 2008. He got it, scoring a 2-1 victory. Two of the qualified players were decided with another two left to be.

"Down" in the loser bracket some surprising results came. The two Korean Orcs and former ZOTAC winners, FoCuS and ViOlet were kicked by DowaQ and HoT respectively, after losing their first matches against XlorD and Night. Afterward, HoT and XlorD had to leave the tournament after 0-2 losses. Up next in the losers semis, LiiLD.C was the only non-Korean. He surprised everybody with his straight 2-0 win over Lucifer. The other semi final finished with another 2-0 score, in ReMinD's favor, which determined the other two qualified participants.

A lot of games and hours waiting was the effort the four players had to pay. However, every single one of them left the event happy that they did it and qualified for the NGL Solo League.
