Daniel "LiiLD.C" Claesson is narrowly leading the Scandinavian ESL Pro Series with 18 points and a positive 8 score difference, two more than lone Orc player Rene "Ciara" Kraag.
"I think getting first rank is gonna be hard unless LiiLD.C loses, which I don't see him doing," says Ciara to GosuGamers. "But I'm comfortable as long as I get at least rank two at least. Should he lose, I'll do my best to take first rank," says Ciara to GosuGamers. The only Orc player in the league is ranked second only two map scores after LiiLD.C.
How will you prepare against the Swedish Undead?
"Well I think I'll do like I've done in the other playdays that worked out pretty well... Just play the ladder like a mad man," says Ciara and smiles. "He tends to play ghouls over fiends, so I might work some things out in my head to prepare some for that," adds Ciara.
For the remaining two playdays, Ciara plays DowaQ and ThomasG while LiiLD.C sees HenL and Bringer. Looking at the current ranking, Ciara's play schedule seems just a tad easier, but as the whole Top 4 reach the LAN finals, ending first or second matters little.
Third and fourth placed Bringer and Thorzain will need to keep their cool and play well in the last two encounters to make sure their current ranking positions remain.
A secured Top 4 position keeps LiiLD.C calm
Raptor-Gaming's main gunner LiiLD.C tells GosuGamers that he really enjoys playing in this league. And while he hopes to win the LAN finals in Copenhagen next month, he puts little time to practice for the remaining two games.
"Since I'm already through to the finals, I won't put down too much practice time for these matches in particular, but of course I want to win them and will do all I can to achieve that," says LiiLD.C
