Moon top seeded in ESL Asia event

Jang Jae "Moon" Ho received top seed in the WarCraft 3 invite tournament at ESL Continental Finals Asia and will play Xiaofeng "Sky" Li in the first round.

Moon will have the chance to exceed his 4 game win streak over Sky on Saturday, as he is paired up with World Elite's Sky in the ESL Continental Finals Asia.

Following up after his silver medal in World Cyber Games, the Korean Night Elf player is most likely edged to show his potential and claim a title in an event where top superstars of this caliber attend.

Last time China and Korea's poster boys clashed was in the World e-Sports Games Masters. The two was set up in a group similar to the upcoming ESL event, only with WhO instead of Lyn back then.

Sky has a lot to prove, after still not grabbing any international championship title this year. The stalwart Human player can only boast with a first place in Chinese Neo Star League, and a runner-up spot at the ESWC Global Finals.

The second playoff match is fought out between Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen and June "Lyn" Park. Just like with Moon and Sky, the two Orc players last engaged combat at World E-Sports Games Masters, in a match which Lyn came out on top.

Grubby comes in to the tournament as favorite after his impressive gold medal World Cyber Games. Lyn, who failed to qualify for World Cyber Games, is surely eager to play and show the masses he is worthy of the first rank in the GosuGamers Rankings.
