Entering the World Cyber Games for the sixth time, Grubby finds himself in a tough group. So tough that it is probably his toughest WCG group ever, to trust the former champ's own words.

Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen has no international championship title in 2008, but has shown an upswing in his skill tree. Earning a second place in the first season of NiceGameTV War3League and a third place at World E-Sports Games Masters, the nickname Grubby should inflict fear among his group stage opposition.

The poster-boy of the international WarCraft 3 scene will be needing to conserve his latest results and perform flawlessly in the group stage. Getting eliminated is not an option for Grubby, but with opponents as Kim "SaSe" Hammar, Xuwen "Infi" Wang and Marc "yAwS" Förster it won't be an easy walk in the park.

"Yes, it's probably my toughest WCG group ever. YaWs should not be discounted either. Both Infi & Sase can be difficult opponents for me, but it's not acceptable to go out in group stage for me so it will not happen. One of them will have to go out early," says Grubby to wcg.com.

Grubby was eliminated by Sky in the last two World Cyber Games tournaments. This year Grubby's adversary failed to qualify, which might mean gold for the Dutchman.

"He's always a very difficult opponent for everyone, also for me. This time around he won't be participating. So the way is free for me to take gold?" says Grubby and laughs.

Grubby starts his WCG 2008 journey with a match against yAwS at 12:00 on November 6.
