While Moon managed to win his game over WhO, Sky was able to create a tiebreaker situation after defeating Grubby.
A couple of hours later, the three players went to an internet café in China to settle the tiebreaker. Sky defeated WhO in the first game, on Echo Isles. Grubby was up next for Sky, who was able to claim the last spot if he won. But Grubby proved stronger, and was able to counter Sky's tower and Archmage.
- I was confident I could win against Sky on TM... but I thought he will go MK. He did AM in fact with towerrush. I didn't expect it for even 1% but I had so many practice against towerrush (thanks to my German friends) that I took it quite calmly, says Grubby to Replays.net.
The last game in the tiebreaker stood between WhO and Grubby on Twisted Meadows. The Orc mirror proved to be a one-sided short game where Grubby rushed the Korean Orc.
- I could see he was quite exhausted and maybe sick. I think he must be tired, coming from MGC to here, says Grubby.
For the playoffs, Grubby is up against Lyn, while InFi takes on Moon. Group A was decided yesterday already, but after Lyn's win over InFi today it came clear who took the first spot.
