diamondZ block fnatic's NGL-TWO hopes

The Russian team diamondZ Gaming came out victorious over fnatic in the NGL-TWO qualifier. A close 4-3 win for the Russians made sure diamondZ are one of the four qualified teams for the fifth season of NGL-TWO.

The sparkling Russian team was eliminated from the upper bracket by Danish Ciara's Volt-Gaming, but saw their chance in the lower brackets. After edging out wins over the North Americans H2O and the German team KomaCrew, diamondZ reached the lower bracket semi finals, where top team fnatic waited.

fnatic, league favorites with their astounding all-Korean lineup filled with names as Shy and FoCuS, were close in qualifying already in the upper bracket. But Apoc.BallerPoker's Frizzer gave fnatic a run for it, as he disposed Kei, Yange, Space and MinHyuk. And the Russians continue to block fnatic from entering NGL-TWO, as KemPeR and Multick made sure diamondZ came out with a 4-3 win.

Fnatic's team captain Shy gave his team a good start with a 2-1 after fnatic decided to use their joker and revive Shy on the expense of team mate Space. But the Shy success stopped as Multick took down the fnatic captain on Echo Isles. Multick could then also defeat Kei, but saw himself lose to FoCuS on Lost Temple. Final game stood between FoCuS and KemPeR, a game where the Russian Human player could ship his team to the fifth season of NGL-TWO.
