12 international top players will be invited, while the remaining four will be filled by Greek talents.
The games for the ESWC Masters of Athens are WarCraft 3 and Quake 3. Usual eSport game Counter-Strike is not on the list, most likely due to the packed schedule in October for Counter-Strike teams.
The player list will be made official on September 22. Players who wish to be invited should send in their application at the ESWC site. The 4 Greek players will be decided through a local preliminary.
Greece's most successful player is George "Vankor" Sefertzis, who was last seen playing in the Samsung European Championship 2008.
