GGL Digital Games 2008 rules announced

As our seasons change, it’s the same for the gaming seasons as another tournament is announced. A world-wide event will take place for the following five months

The format for the tournament will be a 1v1 ladder where you gain points for wining and playing. 60 points for each win you take and 40 points each time you play a game. In a best of three design, six maps have been chosen, Tirisfal Glades, Turtle Rock, Twisted Meadows, Terenas Stand, Lost Temple and Secret Valley.

The Digital Games 2008, organized by GGL and with the collaboration with China Internet Gaming and the OOOC, is a tournament that comprise a wide range of games from Fighting, Driving, First Person Shooter and of course Real-Time Strategy. Even sports games is included in the list of games. The tournament is divided in three stages; the Regional Qualifying Ladder, the first step. Anyone from the five continent can register and participate in the ladder. You just need to register via the we DG08 website and compete during 1 month and a half to climb the ladder and be the first of your country and then you will advance to the second round, the Regional Final. From the middle of August to mid-September 32 players will fight to earn their place to the Global Final, the third phase of the tournament, that will be held in China on the 27th of October.
