Legendary StarCraft progamer Garimto will lead Team East, while DotA player and former Counter-Strike player XeqtR will lead Team West.
Garimto will be managing Team East, the Asian team. The 27-year-old made a comeback into the StarCraft progaming scene after his military service, but after disappoint results he fell back into the coach role for his team KTF MagicNs. Garimto has won the most prestigious Korean StarCraft tournament twice - Ongamenet StarLeague.
XeqtR became famous playing for teams as Ninjas in Pyjamas and eoLithic, but has now stopped playing Counter-Strike competitively. He is still in the scene currently playing for Mousesports' DotA squad.
Decided through a voting process and a jury, the three players for each team have been determined. Team East consists of Xiofeng "Sky" Li, Jae Ho "Moon" Jang and June "Lyn" Park, while Team West has Manuel "Grubby" Schekhuizen, Kim "SaSe" Hammar and Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn.
The e-Stars Continental Cup takes place at the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center in Seoul, Korea 24th - 27th July 2008. The event will have a total prize purse of $75.000, detailed breakdown haven't been announced yet.
