BeT missed it by one

On a quite important and thrilling playday, we saw two powerhouses, Mousesports and BeT go at it, one looking to secure their second place, while the other wanted to reast at ease at the fourth place. Not everything goes as one wants.

First match was ToD versus whO on LT in what resulted in one of the most enjoyable matches of the day. Lots of expand for ToD did nothing to prevent a monster bm from stomping over the human armada. After 36 minutes of never ending crits, ToD goes TR. There, whO just amazes me, because not only is he a great player, but damn he has awesome luck with items. Really short game, ToD went for towers on a cross spawn and after having a not so good early game,whO, aware of his advantage, goes for ToD's base who just leaves after 10 minutes. 1-0 for BeT.

Then the match between fly100% and WinNerS ensued. In both games, there were some silly mistakes from fly that can easily be blamed on the lag, but nevertheless, WinNers dominated the series so badly, there isn't much to point out here. 2-0 for BeT here.

The two on two match followed close after this with Russia and China in Once side, against Korea. Happy and Fly100 battled it out with Check and whO in a very 2s series. First match in Avalanche was just a superb display of skills from all four players and the first map for mouz in the clanwar. Second game in TM had a strange twist with Fly choosing the alchemist as a second hero. Even though at the hands of a pro, this hero could be a deadly weapon, it just turned out to be a wrong choice and the equalizer for BeT. Last Game in TR, albeit not nearly es excitign as the first one, had the added of bonus of being the last game. It was pretty even, some nice micro, nice battles, entertaining, but in the end, losing three out of four heroes for BeT proved to be quite a bad fight and gg came out.

With a closer score Happy went on to face FoV in the first mirror of the day. Three games with coils, novas, ghouls, gargs, fiends and the rest of the Undead arsenal was shown and used by these two great players, but even though they are very good and full of skills and nifty moves to show, they just were absent here. Happy won a rather boring series 2-1 making the overall score a 2-2 tie.

Finally, SaSe was up against Check in the second mirror of the clan war. During the first match in EI, both players decided to go for bears but SaSe had to tp too early in the game, and then while harassing Check's base he lost his dh due to a lack of tp and a wisp block. Then he lost the first fight and after that, it was just a matter of time for Checks final push who would just make SaSe type out. SaSe chose SV as the second map of the series, and again both players mirrored each other and went for potm hunts, but again SaSe had a poor early game and lost his Potm within the four minute mark. Check just continued to creep/harass/ pressure SaSe, playerd the game at his rythm and forced SaSe to hand out the series and the cw to BeT with a score of 3-2.

Quite the enjoyable clanwar, although BeT is surely regretting they did not get that fourth point to rest at ease today.
