Hello there Ivica "Zeus" Markovic, who just defeated FiveStar and won the 2on2 in the important WC3L match versus WICKED...
1People say you play best under pressure and offline. Did you feel pressure being placed against FiveStar in an important clan war like this?
- I felt like I had to win, pressure don't really bother me if I know I trained. Clan war was important so sure there was some anxiety.
2Night Elf versus Orc, considered by name a controversial matchup. What were your thoughts going up against one of Korea's best Orc players?
- I was a bit afraid of Gnoll Wood since it in my own opinion goes to advantage of Orc, but I decided to do some of my unusual strats and it worked out to my fortune. My thoughts were that it could go wrong on Gnoll Wood, and the start wasn't too good, but I adapted when I saw what he was doing and took best out of it.
3Go through the two games and why you won them.
- It was close position and I wanted to push him heavily in order to stop him from creeping and leveling his Shadow Hunter. Archer, Talon Dryad and Huntresses are good versus that, but I made a mistake going for burrow instead fighting the Grunts in the start. After that I managed to kill burrows which got me back in the game.
At Echo Isles I tried to trick him but he came to my base and saw Ancient of Lores. I cancelled, but got greedy. I did a nice Wisp detonation so he couldn't run away. The key point was probably killing his Blademaster the second time. In the first attack he got greedy so I got some Grunts down. A very rocky start in both games.
4PGS Gaming are now headed for the playdowns, at the moment ranked in 10th place. Do you think you have what it takes to remain in the WC3L?
- We will see, I certainly hope so.
5Community reactions when PGS signed you and FuRy were very negative, saying you were dead weight for a team. How much of that critique did you feel was aimed towards you, and what do you think about such words given to you?
- Yeah well, community goes in tides, once you are labeled as something they go with the flow, no matter what you do, even after ESWC I was being called shit. So I made peace just by when I'm motivated and training to do my best and play for myself and the team. Sure there are still people out there who support me and I thank them for it.
