KotR International Warcraft 3 Challenge

The new Chinese team based league King of the Road International Warcraft 3 Challenge announced their first season with a total amount of $18.000 prize money to give away.

The league is an initiative of the Chinese eSports website KotR.com.cn, who is also in charge of the National Chinese Semi-Pro Ice Warcraft 3 Team League. The tournament will consist of 6 International teams, each team with 4 players, and will be held from April 30th to May 4th.

The tournament has set huge bonuses for the participating teams. The winning team will be awarded with $ 10.000, the second and third place earn $ 4.000 and $ 2.000.

The location for this tournament will be the the Optical Valley Plaza in Wuhan, China which was also the venue of the WSVG China 2007. With the possibility of a new patch coming up the determined patch for this tournament is still pending.

While the official list of teams isn't announced yet it's most likely that WE, wNv, colorful, SK, MYM and Mouz will receive an invitation from the organization. Although others bring up that BeT will be part of the list. For more information about this tournament, stay tuned.
