
wNv’s starplayer Sun "xiaOt" LiWei talks in an interview on the wNv-Gaming website about the quality, strategies and potential of his main race, Orc.
The 21-year-old from Beijing, China blossomed into one of the best orc players in China. Besides his share in the little achievements of team wNv he is successful in the solo tournaments. Since the World Esports Games 2 season in 2005 LiWei grow to one of the steadiest players of the Chinese scene.
Despite being a member of wNv for longer than 2 years, rumors went through the scene of a possible transfer after the disappointing team performances. Though, in the interview he denies these rumors and says that he is satisfied with his current home.
“ For me, wNv is another home. At first nobody knew about us but we kept on fighting, making wNv a world famous clan. Li Jie, our CEO, appreciated and concerned about me, I feel it's a honor to be part of wNv. So there aren’t any reasons for me to leave wNv.” |
Besides the personal part the a big part of the interview is dedicated to the orc race. Especially strategies is a much spoken subject in the interview. In one of the questions he explains how an orc should defend a human player who expands and hass mass riffles.
“ It depends on the maps. Take EI for example, u must know hum’s strategy at the beginning, The shop is better built at the tavern so BM can first finish the level 3 Ogre and then buy a healing salve, which ensures u can kill many Peasant. When upgrade to tier 2, hire panda and keep on rushing.” |
