mTw-Protois will replace Satiini coming week at the Extreme Masters. The Finn was not able to restrain from his mental disability and had to cancel the event.
With the drop out of Juha-Matti "Satiini" Bäckström, Lars Gerrit "Protois" Reichelt was granted a spot by the ESL after winning the 11th Place Cup 2 weeks ago. After a 3-way-tie between Ciara, Protois and NightWOlf, regames were required to decide who would take the first reserve spot. Ciara lost 1:2 to Protois, then NightWOlf forfeited his games.Bäckström, who got released by his team mTw today, declined the option to travel to the CeBIT 2008 in Hannover, Germany after first telling in an interview that the situation in his life changed and he planned on attending the Extreme Masters.
Despite this notification it was expectable that he would cancel the Intel Extreme Masters coming thursday after being absent from the NGL One Finals last weekend.
Reichelt will replace Satiini in Group B with Lyn, Grubby, HoT and HasuObs. Reichelt has less than a week to prepare for the tournament, let's see how he will do in this tuff group.
