While the tournament is scheduled to start tomorrow the organization announced some necessary changes in the list of participators.
Both XyLigan and Tod cancelled for the AWL European Qualifier just one day before the tournament is about to start. The russian human is not able no play because the wedding of his sister and his Group starts to early.
Tod is unable to play tomorrow because he prefered to attend the France MIAGE Lan. However, the organization of the AWL was able to find several replacements who are now deciding trough a 4 spot single elimination tournament who will get a spot for the tournament of tomorrow. The spot of Tod was given to American player SonKiE.
The 4 players who are invited to play the pre-qualifier for the last spot tonight are Frozen, Quai, Sting and the Canadian player KiWiKaKi. The winner will get the spot of Xyligan in group D.
Update:
GG.Frozen won the qualifier for the last spot after beating both teammate GG.Quai and ieS.Sting with 2:0. It seems that another spot was cleared as myMYM announced that Sting will replace Rotterdam.
Quite miraculous that there is a possibilty that 2 non-European will make it to the AWL European Qualifier. We will keep you updated about the last spot.
