Lee Sung Duk, actually known as SoJu, was able to win the title back in 2007. While in the group stage, he was able to win over PaTo, Djaafar and Steler, while losing against Creolophus. But in the grand final, SoJu was able to get his revenge over the Norwegian Night Elf player, defeating Creolophus with a 2-0.
2008's edition of the ESWC will kick off at the end of August at the NVISION event, organized by none other than NVIDIA, in San Jose, California. This 6th edition is supposed to bring more than 800 players, divided in 50 countries from all over the world. They will all battle against each others in their respective games to be able to come back home with the gold medal and what is supposed to be a heavy prize purse too.
