The 20-year-old Kim Hammar is one of the few gamers who exchanged his everyday life for a professional Warcraft 3 career in China. Some time ago he used to live together with current Mouz team mate ToD. However, since May 2007 ToD and SaSe are no longer living together in China.

Hammar is performing well lately with his team Mouz who is currently holding a second spot in the WC3L. In individual matches he is currently on a 4-0 winning streak after beating both srs`SonKiE and MYM]Shy by 2:0 both. Although it came as a surprise for most of the viewers, Hammar himself wasn’t surprised and explains about his preparation before the match.

Actually I wished to play Moon. I didn't look at any of Shy’s or moons replays before we got the lineup, only 4 of them after I saw I was playing him. I just played a lot of games and found out counter to all the strats I played against. Most my games were vs Hovermoon, a player of WE.09 who is really good. Also some games against Sai, probably some more players but I can't remember. I practice with anyone who wants too :P Hard to remember all

Hammar admits that ToD is an important factor for him, especially for his motivation. Hammar about his French friend, "He helped me motivate me a lot and he also gave me tips for my games. Another big reason was that I was in Guangzhou. I don't have any friends there and the clubs are not very good. Only thing I could do was sleep and practice."

The nightelf player says that he has been playing about 8-14 hours per day since the 15th of January. When the reporter asked him about wether he has time to hang out together with ToD and looking for girls or not Hammar says with a wink, "Just practice, no time for girls!"

After some absence of the European top it seems like SaSe is trying to get back in shape again. For the entire interview click here.
