The Taiwanese Warcraft professional team, X-Gamers.EsM, has just announced a new addition to the already 11 players long roster.
X-Gamers.EsM, named after Taiwan's largest Warcraft 3 website which garners around 35,000 visitors everyday, is a team composed of Taiwan’s best players from Clan Myth and Clan vS. The team has always been on top of the Taiwanese rankings and delivered multifarious players to international tournaments such as the World Cyber Games and ESWC. Like current team Captain Liang "HRU" Yung-Shan who placed 5th at group E of the most recent World Cyber Games in Seattle. In April 2007, EsM already added three times World Cyber Games Hong Kong representive, Toni. This week the Taiwanese team is adding the first player from the mainland of China, Zhao "LPj" Jie. This 18-year-old Undead player from Shanghai is mainly known for his participation in the Replays.Net Team Battle (RTB League).
Among the new addition, EsM will have in 2008 the possibility again to utilize EriC and Demonsheep, who will slowly return from their graduation year at the university. On the other hand is it that former Myth captain Rivalz will take on the inactive status.
LPj already played his first match for his new team, last Saturday in the WarCarft League. He immediately showed his value by taking an important win against xTc.ss.Grom, making the final score 3:2 in favour of his team. If you are interested to his skills, the replays can be downloaded here: Match 1 – Match 2.
With a new player and a brand new sponsorship by Razer it is expectable to see EsM in more international tournaments. GosuGamers asked EsM leader Jia Qu "Retty" Liu about their schedule, "The main idea to recruit China players is to introduce China players to international leagues. As everybody knows, China gets bad internet connections with any other country, but there are still some aggressive players who want to play with foreign players. Also, we want Esm to be a more international team". This draws the attention of more Chinese additions. Liu said it was probably they would add more Chinese players but he wasn't sure.

It seems like the team is filled with talent. However they still might should consider engaging some Tower Power.
