WC3L: The Mice sends the Devils back to Hell

A clash of epic proportions was played today as MeetYourMakers struggled against MouseSports for the first points of the new WC3L season. Both teams contain some impressive players and have strengthened their respective squads quite recently.

The two former teammates Grubby and ToD, who were both two very important pillars in the now disbanded 4Kings, found themselves in a very unusual situation this evening as their new teams faced eachother in the first playday of this season's WC3L. The two are widely regarded as Europe's top two players and made solid performances by winning their respective submatches. However, only one of them could leave this game victorious.

This time, it was ToD's new team, MouseSports, who emerged victorious after Fly100% managed to overcome Lucifer in the last submatch. The score ended 2-1 in favour of the skilled Chinese. Noteworthy is also that SaSe, who has been looking very unstable the last few months, managed to beat the Korean Shy in two straight Night Elf mirror games. The Swede did well with his pattented strategy featuring the Priestess of the Moon as his first hero followed by a Naga Sea Witch while pumping units from dual Ancients of War.

Other than Grubby's succesful debut, it was a bad day for MYM who at least seem to have preserved their strong 2vs2 teamplay in Lucifer and Susiria where the latter played as Night Elf. Mentionable is that the recently crowned PGL2 champion Moon was not present in the Makers' lineup this evening. If he was, the game just might have ended differently.
