Samsung Euro Championship (SEC) announced more information regarding the 2008 edition.

From March 6th to 9th, 250 players from 30 nations will compete at the Euro Championship of the World Cyber Games in 7 games for a total prize money of 100.000 US-Dollar. Like last year, the tournament will be held at the world’s largest trade fair for digital solutions, CeBIT, in the Hannover Exhibition Center.
Together with the finals of the Extreme Masters II, the Samsung Euro Championship will be the second Warcraft 3 tournament held at CeBIT. During last year’s edition Gravitas.HoT took the first price after a 2:1 victory over mouz.ToD in the Grand Finals. The Ukrainian nightelf won with his first place $5,330, most likely, this year’s winner will take home the same amount of dollars.
However nothing has been officially announced, yet it's presumably that Samsung Euro Championship will invite a total of 21 players, all from different countries. Those players, including the best European player of the World Cyber Games 2007, besides champion Creolophus, Gravitas.XyLigan, will be playing a double elimination tournament spread over four days.
