Due to somewhat lacking results in the WC3L Qualifications from the three top rated teams mTw, Gravitas and wNv, only one of them will make it through to the upcoming WC3L season.
The qualifications rounds for the next season of the WarCraft III Champions League has brought many unexpected results. In the second round of the Winner Brackets mTw and Gravitas, who have both invested heavily to qualify for the WC3L, surprisingly lost to their respective games to starComa and hoorai. They are now fighting for WC3L survival as they'll go up against eachother on Saturday. After today's game between srs and wNv, things now look even tougher.
Since wNv, considered as one of the very top Chinese teams, lost to Serious earlier today, they will await the winner between mTw and Gravitas in the Loser Brackets. Even though wNv ended up last in the previous season, the team boasts a very potent lineup featuring players like xiaOt, Sai and TH000. Now they are facing a very sticky situation as both mTw and Gravitas are strong teams who are definetly capable of taking down the Chinese powerhouses.
