The WC3L qualifier is still taking place and today it will go on with three matches being played. While in the first round the winners seemed be clear even before the matches where played, now it's going to be much more close.
We could also call today's matches a German - Russian fight since overall two out of three matches will be played between German and Russian teams, while the third one will be an all German battle.
XyLigan and his new team might face the first stronger opponent today
The probably most interesting match of today, if not of the whole second round, will be hoorai against Gravitas Gaming. While the German based hoorai has got very talented players such as elfittaja, Bringer, DNA or NaNiwa under contract, Gravitas Gaming can come up with big names such as XyLigan and HoT. Both teams seem to have what's needed to qualify, but nontheless Gravitas Gaming seems to be little ahead their opponent.
The second upperbracket match of today will be the all-German battle between mTw and sCa. Well, mTw is atleast German based but most of the players they will use aren't German. Whatever, mTw has big names such as Rainbow or Satiini (picture on the left) - their latest recruits - next to KiWiKaKi or Protois in their roster, while sCa has got a good mix of talented and known German players under contract. To name some, yAwS, Fisch or corugnoll - their players will atleast be known to most of the German community.
Comparing those rosters the winner once again seems to be very clear - mTw is the big favourite in this match. Although sCa isn't bad at all, the top players from mTw seem to be much stronger.

Last but not least there is the second Russian - German fight. This time the battleground is the lowerbracket and the armies that will meet are the players from Lyra Gaming and RAPTOR-Gaming.
While Lyra lost to their Russian competitor Gravitas, RAPTOR was defeated by hoorai. Both teams aren't favourites to qualify for the WC3L and one will be out of the qualification tonight, but who will make it and who not?
While KemPeR most likely is the most known player of the Russian team, Vyfer has been the only one who was successful against Gravitas. He beat the Russian Orc player Rob with 2-1.
On RAPTOR's side there are players like TryDying, who did very well in the German EPS last season, iNSoLeNCE - maybe known from his time in mTw - or HATE-LOVE-ANGER. Declaring a favourite in this match is quite hard since the players aren't too known. Sure, the names come up now and then, but both teams don't have real top stars and it might become close between those two.
