Extreme Masters: Playday One almost over

The Extreme Masters are running but there's not too much to hear about it's group stage lately. GosuGamers gives you a short overview about the results so far.

The first playday has been almost finished, only three matches are still to be played. Among those, the match between ToD and Grubby - the two top favourites.
Extreme Masters Playday 1
Belarus NightWOlf< Germany HasuObs
Russia XyLigan> France eLquA
Finland elfittaja> Sweden KnOfF
Russia KemPeR> Denmark Ciara
Finland Satiini> Ukraine Tresh
Sweden SaSe< Germany Protois
Russia Happy> Ukraine HoT
Bulgaria DieSeL< Germany miou
Croatia Zeus19< Poland Paladyn
Sweden DowaQvs. Germany fire_de
Bulgaria Insomniavs. Sweden LiiLD.C
Netherlands Grubbyvs. France ToD
Extreme Masters Playday 2
Netherlands Grubby> Sweden LiiLD.C

It is hard to see any tendencies so far from the results but one could say that Group A shows clearly who the favourites are. XyLigan, elfittaja and HasuObs all won their first matches and seem to be the ones who will dominate the group. In Group B, one could be surprised to see SaSe last with 0-1 stats. He lost to Protois who had a lot of practice for the EPS finals. Satiini and KemPeR are the others who won their matches in this group, but if the latter will keep winning like this is quite unlikely.
Group C unfortunately lacks results currently - so far Grubby won two games and LiiLD.C as well as DowaQ lost one match each. This group is going to be very interesting since there are very good players such as ToD, Grubby, LiiLD.C, Insomnia and Rob in it.
Group D will also be pretty interesting - so far Happy, Paladyn and miou won their first matches while Zeus19, DieSeL and HoT have lost. Especially HoT still is a top candidate for one of the first ranks in this group, so he will have to do better after his lose against Happy.

The missing matches are DowaQ against Fire_de and Insomnia vs. LiiLD.C - played tomorrow 20CET - and Grubby against ToD - scheduled for Friday, 17CET.
