Grubby was thrown down in the Loser Bracket » after losing to DowaQ, but the Loser Bracket has a heavy opposition as well. While waiting for the second semi finalist, pending match between Giacomo and ElakeDuck, Grubby has time to rethink what went wrong versus DowaQ and overcome his opponent once in the semi final.

ElakeDuck versus Giacomo are old acquaintances, as they played each other at DreamHack Summer 2006 in the Grand Final with ElakeDuck coming out on top. This time, both players are not in their prime, but both have showed an impressive shape, especially from ElakeDuck by taking down FuRy and Konna in the Winner Bracket. But when he was put up against LiiLD.C, ElakeDuck was not able to repeat the previous upsets.
