It's been quite a day at DreamHack in Jönköping, Sweden and it just got a little better when the big star at the event, Grubby, very surprisingly lost the the extraordinary talent DowaQ. While the former now finds himself in the Loser Brackets, DowaQ proceeds to the Winner Brackets Final where he will await the winner between ElakeDuck and LiiLD.C.
After taking down Giacomo in the Quarter Finals, Grubby's Orcs seemed to be on the warpath. However, they hit some heavy resistance as they encountered Serious Gaming's talented Swede DowaQ. After winning a map each the best of three match was decided in an extremely exciting game on Turtle Rock. Grubby seemed to have the upper hand with a larger army, expansion and higher hero levels. Somewhat miracously, DowaQ managed to turn the game by adding a Dark Ranger to his Death Knight and Lich as well as going for an all aerial army.

The legendary Dutchman will now have to fight his way through what's left of the Loser Brackets where he'll be facing XiNe, GlaiVe or his teammate FuRy in his next match. For DowaQ things are now looking very good and he has every right to celebrate tonight. Not only is he guranteed at least third place in this tournament, his team also won their match against nGt in the WC3L Qualifiers this evening. He's well on his way on establishing himself among the finest European players.
