Defs defeats mTw, re-qualifies for WC3L

Except the offline finals in Cologne all WC3L matches of the current season have been finished. Yesterday afternoon the last match has been played and Defining Stars were able to re-qualify for the WC3L by defeating mTw.

Defining Stars lost some players lately, their last loss was Rainbow who went to mTw. But also the German based team mTw had to announce the loss of two players and therefore reinforced themselves with Rainbow and Satiini. Both new recruits have not been allowed to play in yesterday's playdown match.

With the 3-2 victory of Defs, who were ranked one place behind mTw after the regular season, eight out of twelve teams for the next season are determined. The top six teams aswell as 4K and Defs are qualified for the 13th WC3L season while mTw and wNv have to re-qualify at the qualifier tournament.

The match between Defs and mTw has been really close, except the 2on2 match all matches ended up 2-1. The map-score is 8-6 favouring Defs, showing that mTw gave them a tough fight even without their new players and with their former key-player Nilknarf missing due to inactivity. With Satiini and Rainbow, mTw should be one of the favourites in the qualifier tournament and most likely we will see them in the next WC3L season.
