WC3L Playoffs: BeT gets ticket to Cologne

The regular WC3L season is over and one out of two online playoff matches have been played. As we reported, SK overcame mouz and therefore qualified for the offline playoffs in Cologne. This is what both, We are Go and the Beijing eSports Team, aim for as well.

The match is about to start, it will officially begin at 14 CET today. Go was ranked one place above BeT. This did not matter at all since the fourth and fifth place finishers face each other anyways.

During the regular season, Go was able to defeat BeT closely with 3:2. Space, Ohjie and Shy scored their three points, while FoV and Sweet/FoV won their matches for BeT.
Today there will be no FoV in the solo matches, he only is seeded for the 2on2 together with Check. This looks quite surprising since FoV is the best ranked player from BeT in the WC3L player statistics.

It’s most likely going to be a very close match again, both teams seem to be on the same level. Taking a closer look at the lineups, it looks like Ohjie will be able to defeat WinNers, the match between Shy and Sweet might become a very close one, same with Space against Who – although Who might have a slight advantage as Orc. The battle between MinHyuk and Check looks like Check will defeat his opponent and score a point for BeT, while the 2on2 match is quite even again.
